Terms and Conditions for Passmore Studio Rental

 

These Terms and Conditions govern the rental of studio space (“Studio”) provided by Passmore of Colchester Limited, trading as Passmore Studio. (“We”, “Us”, “Our”) to you (“Client”, “You”, “Your”). By booking the Studio, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not proceed with the booking.

 

  1. Booking and Payment

1.1 Provisional bookings can be made through our website, via email, or by phone.

1.2 Once availability has been confirmed, you will receive an invoice with details of how to pay.  A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of the full payment.

1.3  All prices are in GBP (£) and inclusive of VAT at the current rate unless stated otherwise. Current prices are shown on our website.

 

  1. Cancellation Policy

2.1 Cancellations can be notified to us by telephone but must be confirmed in writing or by email.

2.2 You can cancel your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your shoot for a full refund, after that time has expired your deposit is forfeit,  however we may offer you a studio credit in extenuating circumstances.

2.3 If we need to cancel your booking, we will provide a full refund or offer you an alternative date.

 

  1. Use of Studio

3.1 The Studio is to be used for purposes outlined at the time of booking. When completing the booking form, please let us know the purpose of the booking in as much detail as possible, including the number of people that will be attending.  Any changes in use require prior written consent from us.

3.2 The agreed rental duration must be adhered to. Additional charges may apply for any time exceeding the booked period.

3.3 Access to the Studio is provided during the time specified in the booking confirmation. Arrival and departure times must be strictly observed.

 

  1. Responsibilities of the Client

4.1 Clients are responsible for the supervision of all guests and participants in the Studio.

4.2 The Client is liable for any damage caused to the Studio or its contents during the rental period. We reserve the right to charge for repairs or replacements as necessary.

4.3 The Client agrees to leave the Studio in a clean and tidy state. Any additional cleaning required will incur charges.

4.4 Clients are responsible for making sure that the Studio is suitable for their needs before making the booking.  If in doubt, please contact us for further information.

 

  1. Conduct and Restrictions

5.1 The following activities are prohibited within the Studio:

– Smoking

– Illegal activities

– Excessive noise or disturbances

– Use of any hazardous materials

5.2 Clients must ensure that their activities do not disturb neighbouring properties.

 

  1. Liability

6.1 We are  not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property belonging to the Client or their guests.

6.2 Clients use the Studio at their own risk. We are not liable for any injury occurring on the premises.

 

  1. Insurance

7.1 The Client is encouraged to obtain appropriate insurance for their activities while using the Studio. We do not provide any insurance coverage, apart from that which is legally required.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under this Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

 

  1. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes prior to their booking.
